Alphonso Hayes Witt was born on May 7, 1919 to the union of Willie C Witt Sr. and Mattie Lowe Witt. Alphonso lived to be 81 years old and died in the year 2000 in Tuskeegee, Alabama. Alphonso was a Sargent in the United States Army, served in WW11 and was interned at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Highway I-65 Fort Mitchell, Alabama. Burial Section 14, Site 2197. Alfonso was employed by the Sumpter County Board of Education as a teacher.  Alfonso lived on Old McCainsville Road
