Alfonso Avery was born on November 26, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to Audrey Buchalter Avery and passed on July 1, 2008 at 63 years old in Youngstown, Ohio. Alfonso entered the Jefferson County School System in Birmingham, and his family moved to Youngstown, Ohio at a very young age. Alfonso was interned at the Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
